Travel

The four corners region of America may seem like an out of the way destination, and true that, but also true is that you can get here by car, plane or even rail if you are creative!

By car, simply plug in Mancos, CO into your Google Maps or if you are old school like me, actually get out a map!

By plane you have two main options, either arrive in Durango or Cortez.  To be fair, the Cortez airport is just a wee bit closer than Durango.

By train you can come as far as Green River Utah and have a friend pick you up and bring you south or you can get off in Denver or Albuquerque and drive here.

Lodging

If you want a true small town experience, then you can book some nights at the Mancos Inn or the Mesa Verde Motel.   Both are offering a 10% discount to attendees of the festival.  If you book online with Mesa Verde Motel, use the code "wildbelly" for you discount.

A little further out, the city of Cortez has plenty of hotels as does Durango, which is about thirty minutes from the festival.

If camping is your thing, then you are in luck as there is plenty of Forest Service campgrounds and boondocking spots available all around Mancos.  Just be sure to know the fire restrictions when camping.

Food

While we will be having coffee and pastries each morning and some light snacks provided by Zuma, the local grocery store, we will not be serving hot food nor will there be hot food vendors at the festival.  We have left a generous lunch time in our schedule so that you can go out in the town of Mancos or bring a picnic and sit by the river if you so wish.

There are many fun eateries in Mancos and there are two locally owned grocery stores.  Zuma Natural Foods carries many fermented products, including Mancos Sourdough and has a deli and does hot soup.  The P & D grocery has pizza and does a variety of other hot food items.
